A massive fire at a residence north of Grand Forks is now in the hands of the coroner after one man was found deceased.
It took 31 members from both the Grand Forks and Christina Lake fire departments roughly eight hours to extinguish the blaze on Brown Creek Road Monday.
There were several out buildings and vehicles that were on fire as well as the residence.
Grand Forks Fire Chief Dale Heriot says it is still undetermined where the fire started.
The RCMP say the fire was intentionally set and it appears the man found inside the home could have started it.
