Ensure your business sustainability during tariff uncertainty

Community Futures has partnered with Export Navigator to help businesses diversify and grow by providing guidance through the export process.

General Manager of Community Futures Boundary Jennifer Wetmore says don’t let the uncertainty stop your potential.

“In light of everything that we’re dealing with, with the uncertainty of tariffs back and forth, on and off the table, Export Navigator is a program that can work directly with businesses to help them understand, move and pivot to new markets.” said Wetmore.

“The program offers a range of workshops, webinars, and then one-on-one advising.”

From a Boundary-specific perspective, the Export Navigator program offers businesses in the region access to a dedicated Export Navigator advisor.

This advisor provides tailored guidance on navigating international trade, identifying opportunities, and overcoming potential barriers to exporting.

Through personalized support, businesses can explore new revenue streams and remain competitive in an evolving economic environment. Information sessions are available both online and in-person, and our Export Advisor is available to meet clients across the Boundary region.

“Community Futures Boundary is committed to helping local businesses succeed,” said Wetmore.

“Offering access to the Export Navigator program is a vital step in ensuring our entrepreneurs have the resources they need to adapt, respond, and potentially grow in the face of recent challenges. With expert guidance available right here in our region, businesses can confidently explore new markets and expand their reach.”

“If they feel that there is going to be an impact, if they know that there is going to be an impact, if they’re anticipating the need to pivot and redirect their market please approach Community Futures Boundary, we will put you in touch with an export advisor or we will take you into our fold and see where we can lean in and provide assistance.”
