One of the four incumbent councillors running in a congested race in Grand Forks points to the significant work he’s been involved in with the city.
Gary Smith has been on three key committees.
Smith says he and council have invested a lot of energy in trying to boost business and investment in Grand Forks.
As for the deer problem he says many different options are being considered for management as well as ongoing public education. A referendum question will also ask residents if they approve of a deer cull.
