Young people are a demographic in Grand Forks that needs to be heard.
So says 25 year old city council candidate Zak Eburne-Stoodley who is a life long resident of the community.
Eburne-Stoodley says infrastructure, water meters and a possible deer cull are some issues that make it on his platform.
There’s a referendum on whether residents support a cull as part of deer management practices but he says the deer will simply re-produce and come back even if culled.
