The Nelson Summer Art Series at Selkirk College will bring some unique learning opportunities to the region.
Christine Schmidt is the co-ordinator of Community Education and Workplace Training at the Silver King Campus.
She says there’s 13 courses in total, with some up to a week long.
Schmidt says it’s great for locals but they’re hoping to attract a broader range of people as well.
Other courses include creative coppersmithing, intro to jewelry casting, forged steel inflation and a business course for artists.
