The KIJHL’s Nelson Leafs lost their third round series to Kimberley on Friday night in double overtime.
Head Coach Mario DiBella says the team played well given a few set backs.
He says it was a very exciting final game in Nelson and thanks the fans and volunteers for all their support.
DiBella says the team has made big strides within the last year and that will only continue.
They finished third in the Neil Murdoch Division last year and wound up posting the second-best record in the league this year behind only Kimberley.
