The Columbia Basic Trust is offering funding for businesses and organizations interested in hiring recent university graduates.
Senior Economic Manager, Lisa Kilpatrick, says those interested should apply for funding as soon as possible.
She feels the program will help create and retain jobs in the region.
Kilpatrick says there’s $500,000 going towards the new program and they’re looking to create 20 new positions in the region.
