The Slocan Valley Heritage Trail Society is teaming up with Slocan Valley recreation to hold their annual Winter Day on the Trail event.
Society director Craig Lawrence says it will be setting up by the Winlaw Trailhead at the Slocan Valley Rail Trail.
There will also be workshops on ski-waxing.
The event goes February 12 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
Lawrence thanked the volunteers who have helped maintain the trail this winter as there’s been many downed trees.
Skis and snowshoes will be available for those who don’t have them.
