Crews are working on installing a pair of electirc vehicle charing stations in Salmo.
The Village is part of a $1.4 million initiative through federal, provincial and the Highway 3 mayors coalition to facilitate the chargers with signage and infrastructure.
Salmo’s two chargers are valued at $80,000, they’re going by the village office.
The stations should be ready by Friday.
Pedestrian access in the area is closed as crews are working with heavy machinery.
