A local author launches a book this month about ageing in the West Kootenay.
Lee Reid has written Growing Home: The Legacy of Kootenay Elders, which profiles 14 local seniors.
The launch is at the Nelson library on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m.
Reid is also doing a signing Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Otter Books and a storytelling event at the Passmore Lodge on Sunday, Feb. 12 from 1 to 3 p.m.
