Nelson’s Civic Theatre Society is leading its category heading into the final day of an online competition.
The society is seeking funds through the This Place Matters contest for a roll-up screen and other stage improvements.
Executive director Eleanor Stacey says they’ve already topped $11,000.
The winner gets a $40,000 prize.
