The president of Touchstones Nelson says you couldn’t ask for a better place to store their artifacts.
Ken Watson is talking about their lease on the Cold War-era bunker beneath the post office.
He says it’s a perfect location for their collection since it’s next door to the museum.
Touchstones is asking the city for $25,000 to help facilitate the move.
The city would then be able to sell the old museum on Anderson Street.
