Local volunteers with FairVote Canada will tour the Kootenay-Columbia riding over the next few weeks.
They’re hosting public meetings to talk about what electoral system Canada should use.
Past Nelson-Creston Green Party candidate Sjeng Derkx says we’re long overdue for a change.
The feedback they receive will be sent to the special committee on electoral reform.
