The Nelson SPCA hosts its annual Paws for a Cause fundraiser on Sunday at Lakeside Park.
It’s the one day of the year where dogs are allowed in the park.
Shelter manager Rob Andrew says they’re coming off a great summer.
Registration for Paws for a Cause begins at 9:30 and the walk starts at 11.
The event also includes live music, a cruelty-free barbecue, and games for both dogs and people.
