Wildsafe BC is urging people to stop dumping household garbage at highway rest stops.
Local Community Coordinator Trish Drinkle says it’s an ongoing concern.
Drinkle says this errant waste could attract wildlife to the rest area and jeopardise the safety of anyone who stops.
She urges people to manage their household garbage by taking it to the landfill.
