Ktunaxa nation gathering at Lower Kootenay Band

The Ktunaxa Nation’s Annual General Assembly gets underway Wednesday at the Lower Kootenay Band.

It’s a two-day gathering for all citizens of the four bands.

Council Chair Kathryn Teneese calls it a homecoming.

The itinerary includes some closed sessions for financial reporting.

However, Teneese says the rest of the assembly is open to the public.
