The city of Trail has set aside funds to upgrade the closed circuit video equipment at the RCMP detachment. They’re chipping in over $16,000.

Oelke says the video equipment had been starting to show its age and the system’s hard drive was beginning to get full.
City council says some of the money spent on these upgrades could be recoverable.
