Former long-serving Nelson city councillor Donna Macdonald has launched her memoir Surviving City Hall.
About a hundred people showed up for the book’s launch Thursday night.
She figures the theme of small town politics the last 25 years has an appeal to local readers and further afield.
If the book is a big success would she consider returning to local politics?
Macdonald’s book focuses on some of the trials and tribulations of working with five different mayors in the Queen City.
