Is it time for the City Of Trail to show it’s LGBTQ pride?

River Jones, who is a Youth Substance Abuse Councilor with Freedom Quest Regional Youth Services, posed that question to city council.

She would like to see the Silver City follow Nelson’s lead where they host an annual pride parade and adopt pride coloured sidewalks.

Jones says bullying and harassment for LGBTQ youth is still a problem and it can lead to substance abuse issues, depression and even suicide.
