Concerns with Castlegar parks budget:Tassone

Would Castlegar’s 2016 budget see them paying too much to maintain parks?

One city councilor feels that is the case.

Bruno Tassone voted against two items in the budget, which were the Millenium Park  service contract and the new parks foreman  position. He says there were issues with some of the contracted-out work last year.

He says he has no issue with the parks foreman position but worries residents would essentially be paying twice for the same service.
