A bail hearing has been set for June at Rossland court for a Trail fugitive who was arrested in Calgary last month.
30 year old Joel Andrew Hutchinson was the subject of a manhunt after failing to appear in court in April of last year.
He had been facing a number of firearms charges stemming from the death of 17 year old Aysia Peters at Ross Spur almost two years ago. He will also face charges of a breach of undertaking.
A Facebook post from Peter’s father appears to have aided the search for Hutchinson as it led to a number of tips to police.
