A potential funding injection for the Columbia River Skywalk project in Trail.
The city is applying for grant funding through the Bike BC program for a maximum allocation of $1 million.
To qualify for funds it must be a new project which is ready for construction and can be completed within one year of funding approval.
Warren Proulx – Trail’s Engineering Technician – is confident the project meets the grant’s guidelines.
The bridge will connect the city’s bike network to the Trans Canada Trail.
