Rural funding application period begins next week

Most small communities in the province will qualify for the BC Government’s $75 million Rural Dividend Fund.

Starting Monday through May 31st applications for the first of three years of funding will be accepted.

Grace McGregor is on the Rural Advisory Council, the group which helped shape the criteria for the fund.

Funding for $25 million annually over the next 3 years is available for projects related to community capacity building, as well as development for workforce, community, economics and business sectors.
