Rossland’s fibre optic broadband is now in the ground and ready for downtown users to connect to via a service provider.
The infrastructure was installed by the CBT’s Columbia Basin Broadband Corporation.
Councillor Aaron Cosbey says it’s a vital piece for the Alpine City’s economic development.
He says this will now be a key part of the city’s marketing.
A public exhibition evening goes March 23rd at the Rossland Library to show the community what broadband can do for business.
