Round two of the KIJHL playoffs is underway.
The Beaver Valley Nitehawks took two wins in Fruitvale including a 5-2 win Saturday over the Grand Forks Border Bruins to take a 2-0 lead in their best of seven Neil Murdoch Division Finals.
Game three will be Tuesday in Grand Forks.
And yesterday in Kimberley the Creston Valley Thunder Cats dropped a 2-1 decision in overtime to the Dynamiters.
After losing game one Saturday in Kimberley, the cats trail the Dynamiters 2-0 in the Eddie Mountain Division Finals.
Game three is in Creston on Tuesday.
