The Kotenay Lake school district presents its ranking scores for possible reconfiguration in Salmo Tuesday evening.
Its the fourth of five community visits.
Like most of the schools in the district there is a lot of under-utilized space in Salmo because of dwindling enrolment the last decade. Only 57%  of the nominal capacity is being used with over 200 empty seats in that community. Tonight’s meeting goes at Salmo Secondary at 6-30 pm.
Tomorrow’s final meeting goes at Mount Sentinel before all the scores and rankings for the entire district are released to the public online on Thursday.
The SD8 board is expected to come up with a plan for schools by May.
