Starting tomorrow the Regional District will be running operational fuel treatments in our region to mitigate wildfire risk.
The main areas of focus will be a 13 hectare site in Crescent Valley and the 13.7 hectare Morning Mountain Regional Park.

Crews will cut small understory trees, prune taller trees and clean up woody debris from the forest floor.

Access to both areas will be impacted while work is undertaken.
