An open house will allow Nelson residents a chance to see what goes into planning the city’s budget.
This from Mayor Deb Kozak, who is speaking ahead of an open house this evening at the Nelson And District Chamber Of Commerce new CP Rail Station building.
She hopes to see a lot of public engagement.
The event goes from 6 til 9pm with a formal presentation of the 2016 budget and five year financial plan starting at 7.
She says there will be a small increase to this year’s budget to keep up with inflation.
