Three wolves were spotted chasing a deer in Rosemont yesterday afternoon.
The wolves were spotted around 5pm and the incident was reported to the Nelson Police Department.
The NPD is reminding residents to take the proper steps if you come across a wolf which does not run away.
Stay calm and raise your voice.
Raise your arms in the air to appear larger to the animal.
Throw sticks or rocks to scare it away and back away slowly.
Never turn your back to it.
