Grant to aid Grand Forks infrastructure upgrades

A Federal gas tax grant for the City Of Grand Forks will go a long way into addressing some key infrastructure issues.

This from Mayor Frank Konrad, who is reacting to the announcement that the city has been approved $195,000 from the Federal government to help with the city’s asset management plan.

The asset management plan is set forth to help set up procedures and framework to tackle these infrastructure issues.

He adds the federal monies should help the city achieve it’s goal of becoming more self-sustainable while relying less on grant funding.
