A local area director is unhappy that BC Hydro is not reaching out more regarding its Pest Management Plan for the next five years.
Andy Davidoff -whose area includes the likes of Glade, Pass Creek and Shoreacres – says the first he heard about the offer for public comment was via a newspaper ad in the Vancouver Sun.
The newspaper ad gives 30 days for public comment …which is by the middle of February.
Davidoff says work to control vegetation around hydro infrastructure is a very sensitive issue. It can involve the use of chemicals and the cutting down of growth around ungulate trails.
