Castlegar man arrested on child pornography charges

A 68 year old Castlegar man has been charged with possessing and distributing child pornography.

RCMP and the BC-Integrated Child Exploitation Unit worked together to identify the suspect and a search warrant was executed at his home on April 16th.

Corporal Deb Postnikoff says he was arrested and released on a number of conditions.

He is also not allowed to have an internet connection inside his house
or access the internet anywhere.

The man is set for a first court appearance on May 23rd in Castlegar.
