The MLA for Nelson-Creston has voiced her support for the Fields Forward Partnership initiative.
Michelle Mungall attended this week’s forum that launched the program aimed at boosting the Creston Valley’s Agri-food industry.
The New Democrat argues the BC Liberals do not back the farm and agriculture industry after they re-classified the Creston Valley as Zone-2 Agricultural Land, of lesser use and value.
The $250, 000 dollars in funding for the Fields Forward Partnership is pooled through the Creston and District Community Directed Funds, local and regional governments.
