The public from across our region donated over $10,000 at Whitewater’s first ever Community Day Friday.
The resort allowed all skiers to get on the slopes for a $10 donation.

Two non-profit groups – Nelson Cares Society and Avalanche Beyond The Boundaries – each received over $5,000 plus lots of food was collected for the Nelson Food Cupboard.
The 40th anniversary is celebrated with various events this Friday.
