Local highways maintenance crews are giving us a heads up about a change in weather conditions.
Emcon says a system coming in Tuesday night and Wednesday will likely bring some big snow throughout.
Forecasts predict we could get up to 20 cm by tomorrow followed by winds at the higher elevations.
The company says it is brining, salting and applying magnesium chloride at the higher elevation on the Paulson in anticipation of the upcoming weather.
YRB meanwhile says that with temperatures around zero to plus 3 there will be either wet slushy snow, rain, or freezing rain. This will create flash freezing at higher elevation areas and spot freezing throughout our area as well as dense fog.
