Vista Radio – the company that owns the three radio stations in our area – has announced it raised over $1.2 million last week as part of its annual charity week.
It’s 41 stations – involving more than 300 staff across three provinces – raised food, cash and toy donations for various charities.
Our local communities helped raise over $16,000 for last week’s 12-hour Miracle Marathon event.
That was run through Juice Fm in Nelson and Creston and Goat FM in Castlegar, Trail and Grand Forks.
