The Kootenay Carshare Cooperative will have their own permanent designated parking space in downtown Nelson.

However two other carshare requests were denied.
They wanted a presence on the city of Nelson’s website but that is for city business only.
And they asked the city to become a member.
But the carshare program is currently set up for individuals only and not for businesses or organizations.
