Community futures is celebrating 30 years of helping small businesses in the Central Kootenays.
And the big anniversary is being celebrated during small business week in BC.
The executive director for the non profit organization is Andrea Wilkey.
Community futures has handed out loans to over 800 businesses in the area, helping to create or maintain around 2,800 jobs.
