Stetski wins super tight Kootenay Columbia race

The federal election is a thing of the past and now it’s time to focus on looking after constituents.

This from the NDP’s Wayne Stetski who recorded a very narrow win in the Kootenay-Columbia riding Monday night.

He says the primary initial goals were to see Prime Minister Stephen Harper and local Conservative  candidate David Wilks leave office.

Even though the NDP has lost many seats and are no longer the opposition Stetski says 63% of all voters in his riding cast a ballot for change. He beat Wilks by 285 votes.

Meanwhile a defeated Wilks reflected on the end of Harper’s party leadership.
