The skate park at the Community Complex in Creston has been shut down until next year.
Manager of Recreation, Randy Fediuk says several findings in a recent assessment led to the decision.
Fediuk says short-term repair work will start right away and that should allow for the skate park to reopen in the spring.
Discussion around the overall future of the facility is still up for discussion.
