The push for late night shopping in down town Creston is seeingĀ initial success.
A group of 10 businesses have committed to staying open until 8:00pm on Wednesdays from October through December.
Creston Valley Chamber Director Kevin Smith says it is going to take persistence to see success.
Smith says a number of other businesses will likely follow suit, making down town Creston a destination.
Future plans include collaborating with the Chamber for a shop local Christmas campaign and year-round late night shopping.
