Big response to Castlegar rec survey

Nearly 800 homeowners in and around Castlegar have weighed in on the city’s survey regarding future recreation services in the area.

The questionnaire was sent to every house in Castlegar and Areas I and J earlier this year.

Manager of Recreation at the Community Complex Jim Crockett says its a significant response that gives them an understanding of how the general public feels about current services and what they would like in the future.

Another round of public consultation will take place before the five to ten year plan is completed by summer’s end.
