The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League completed its sixth week of regular season action for the 2024-25 season.
The Beaver Valley Nitehawks don’t budge from number 3 on the ladder following the weekend’s road wins over the Kamloops Storm, 4-3, and the Chase Heat 3-0, with Connor Stojan enjoying a 48-save shutout.
The Nitehawks are currently on a four-game winning streak and are 9-2-1 on the season.
The Grand Forks Border Bruins return to the top five with a 3-1 win over the Castlegar Rebels and a 6-3 win over the Nelson Leafs.

Carter Price collected two assists and Matthew Dovichak made 17 saves for the win.
Brendon Hall scored his first goal for the Leafs after being acquired from La Ronge Ice Wolves.
Quinn Ramsay led the Leafs with two points.
The Border Bruins have now won their last three games, while Jasper Tait won his debut in goal against the Rebels.
Meanwhile, Creston Valley Thunder Cat’s Sidney Brill scored the winner 13 seconds into overtime for the win against the Kimberley Dynamiters, with his second goal of the season.
Berkley Gross led with two goals and an assist and goalie Brendan Smith made 39 saves for the win.
And then Liam Munro goes off with a three-assist night as the Thunder Cats knockoff Williams Lake 6-4.
