All Candidate Forum in Nelson

Voters in Kootenay Central will get to hear provincial candidates’ on key issues at a public forum in Nelson on Thursday, October 3.

This important event will take place at the Nelson United Church, 602 Silica Street, on Thursday, October 3, from 7pm to 9pm, with doors opening at 6:30 pm.

The forum will feature all four candidates running for the Kootenay-Central area:

This forum provides an opportunity for the community to hear directly from the candidates on key topics including Climate, Forests and Fires and Environment.

Nelson and District Chamber of Commerce will then host another debate Tuesday October 15, at the Prestige Lakeside Resort.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m, with the debate planned to run from 7-8:30 pm.

The BC election is set for Saturday, October 19. Advance voting is scheduled for October 10-13 and 15-16.

The last day to request a vote-by-mail package online or by phone is October 13.
