Will the City of Grand Forks go ahead with a deer cull?
Nearly 60% of voters supported the option in a referendum this past Saturday.
However, a new mayor and four new councillors will be at the table following the election.
Current councillor Gary Smith – who was not re-elected – points out though that a majority of the community would be in favor of it.
Smith says this past week the city tagged and collared nine deer in the community to study their movement, mortality and residency.
