Trail’s most popular candidate for council in Saturday’s election says she was shocked and humbled by her success.
Lisa Pasin secured over 2,200 votes which is 1,100 more than the sixth person to make it on to council.
She campaigned on building relationships and growth initiatives across the Greater Trail region and on making the downtown special.
Pasin says her visibility as director of the KBRH Health Foundation played a role in her success.
She says she has fresh ideas and can implement them.
