This from mayor elect Mike Martin who was voted in Saturday after running on the platform of growth, vitality and pride.
Martin chaired the Lower Columbia Community Development Society team after retiring as General Manager of Teck Trail Operations.
Martin will be joined by three incumbent councillors and Lisa Pasin, Carol Dobie and Sandy Santori.
61% of the electorate voted in favor of a $38 dollar a year tax increase to pay for the Riverfront Centre library/museum.
