The city of Nelson has been forced to temporarily close the washroom facilities at Cottonwood Falls Park for maintenance as a result of vandalism.
In a Facebook post from the city, it states that the closure will be in effect until further notice; however, the park remains open for the public to enjoy.
The city of Nelson declined to provide more details on the topic but told Vista Radio that the level of vandalism and associated costs prompted the closure.
