One of the four contenders for mayor of Trail is again pushing the need for a re-think on revitalising the downtown – but he’s not saying just how.
Roger Catalano says he’ll only reveal his thoughts at the upcoming all candidates forum but his ideas will “shock a lot of people.”.
But he says when he was part of the downtown merchants association the downtown used to “swing” as he puts it.
Catalano was easily defeated by Dieter Bogs in the 2005 mayoral race.
Doug Jones,Mike Martin and Ian McLeod are also running for mayor in the Silver City.
