Sanitary Sewer Work expected to cause delays on Vernon

The City of Nelson also says Sanitary Sewer Work is starting in the 400 Block of Vernon Street Wednesday, November 28.  The sanitary service there is collapsing and work is required to ensure it remains open.

Marwest has been contracted to complete the work and are mobilizing equipment at the boulevard above the courthouse and will proceed to set up traffic control on Vernon Street. There are traffic disruptions expected over the next couple weeks as the eastbound highway lane will be narrowed to accommodate equipment.

You’re asked to mind your speed, observe all signage and follow direction provided by the flaggers.
